Break-ins haunt Wauchope

Several break and enter offences and stealing from motor vehicle incidents have been reported in the Wauchope area in the past week.
Police said the break-ins have mostly occurred on garages and sheds, with alcohol being stolen from beer fridges.
Police advise all persons to make sure their garages are locked securely.
“Numerous vehicles that have been parked in driveways had windows smashed and GPS and wallets stolen,” Police said.
“Make sure no valuables are left in vehicles and put locked vehicle into the garage.
“The majority of offences have been occurring during the hours of darkness.”
